Quick Introduction to Mixx Mobile

(This introduction shows Mixx Mobile on a Windows Mobile 5 device, but the same steps applies on any supported device)

 

1. Start dialog Begin by recording some sounds. Select “Record Audio” and press Ok.	2. Recording Dialog Press the record button and start singing. When you are finished, select “Save”.	3. Multi Tracker /Insert Audio The recording is automatically added to a new project in the “Multi Tracker” when leaving the record dialog. This is where we mix the music. To insert another clip, tap-and-hold the stylus on one of the tracks and select “Insert Clip”. Navigate to the wished audio clip using the file browser.
4. Edit Audio Clip To edit the just inserted clip, tap-and-hold the stylus on the clip and select “Edit...”.	5. Clip Editor In the “Clip Editor” there are numerous possibilities to modify the audio. We will reverse the clip to play it backwards, that makes voices sound funny.	6. Apply Reverse Effect Select “Effects->Reverse” from the “Options menu. This will change the clip to be played backwards. Choose “Apply changes” from the “Options” menu to return to the “Multi Tracker”.
7. Save as Ringtone Back in the “Multi Tracker” we set the output as the standard ringtone by selecting the corresponding menu item. The rest is handled automatically by Mixx Mobile!	8. Send2Friend Select “Send2Friend” from the same menu to send the output to a friend using Bluetooth.
